Systems Design Engineer
Summary
You will be responsible for defining and designing the overall requirements for building business systems (such as EC web sales, warehouse management, and insurance) on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
・Clarifying requirements and modeling business workflows with clients and internal stakeholders
・Considering the overall system architecture, including network, applications, and databases
・Defining application specifications (APIs, batch processes, user interface design)
・Designing architectures by combining cloud services (e.g., AWS Lambda, RDS, S3)
・Designing, including non-functional requirements such as performance, availability, security, and maintainability
・Creating and reviewing detailed design documents, external/internal design documents, and operation design documents
・Communicating specifications and supporting explanation of design policies to development and operations teams
Personnel Requirements (Must Have)
・Experience creating basic and detailed design documents based on business requirements
・Experience designing REST APIs and logical/physical database design
・Ability to design systems considering non-functional requirements such as availability, operability, and security
・Practical experience in hearing business requirements and adjusting specifications
・Experience designing business systems using cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
・Native-level Japanese language skills
Personnel Requirements (Nice to Have)
・Knowledge of web application architectures (e.g., Java, Python, .NET, Node.js)
・Documentation skills, including business design, screen design, sequence diagrams, and ER diagrams
・Experience supporting design in agile development
・End-to-end project experience from requirements definition through operational design
